#6 New Mural Project!

A Celebration of Biodiversity

Since 1968, Residents Forward has helped shaped a cleaner, greener and more beautiful Port Washington, from planting trees to protecting open spaces to advancing environmental stewardship across our peninsula.

Coming fall ‘26, the 6th installation of the Port Mural Project will transform “Alpers Way” into a living portrait of Port Washington’s native ecology, showcasing the beauty and interconnectedness of trees, plants, birds, pollinators, and wildlife that sustains a healthy ecosystem.

The White Oak vignette pictured here is a glimpse into the vibrancy of the mural’s beautiful sweeping tapestry of Port’s natural biodiversity.
