YCAP

The Youth Climate Summit launched Residents Forward’s Youth Climate Action Program (YCAP), a mentorship program, where students grades 7-12 work in teams with RF Mentors to create real solutions for Port Washington’s environmental challenges.

Students turn local issues into action through research, planning and working with experts to implement their Climate Action Projects and measure its impact.

From climate change to water conservation, food waste, pollution to sustainability in business, the YCAP inspires, empowers and cultivates the next generation of caretakers to be leaders and change makers to move Port towards a more sustainable peninsula.
