The Port Mural Project
On your self guided Art Walk, discover the Port Mural Project and learn how they came to be a part of Port’s walkable canvas.
#1: Port Postcard: Mural Artist Michelle Shain located at the Mural Garden by Wright Music.
#2: Sunset Sax: Mural Artist Jason Diaz located at the Mural Garden by Wright Music.
#3: Town Crier: Mural Artist Diane Luger located on N. Maryland Ave on the walls of Baltimore Designs.
#4: Remember the Unforgettable: Mural Artist Lori Lee located in the Port Washington LIRR lot on the walls formerly known as Delux Transportation
Artist Trunk Show
Local and regional Artists will be featured at the Artist Trunk Show located at Port Washington Long Island Railroad Station, presented in partnership with The Art Guild. Enjoy the opportunity to meet artists, explore art works, watch creative processes in action, and purchase directly from local and regional talent.
There are only 20 Artist Trunk Show Vendor Spots available. Interested artists of all mediums may apply for the vendor spots. Art may be displayed, sold and/or created at this hub of Art Walk activity. Applications will be live soon!
Live Music Stops
The streets will be alive with music! Explore Live Music at the Art Walk Music Stops throughout the Art Walk area. Local musicians graciously perform on a volunteer basis and are encouraged to participate. If interested in volunteering, please reach out!
Live Music is curated and coordinated by Homebrew Music.
Merchant Stops
Upper Main Street is having a resurgence! There are many new and notable businesses, services and creative spots alongside Port’s main stays. The Art Walk will showcase local merchants’ artistry, creativity and community spirit. All area merchants are invited to participate. To be a featured Art Walk Merchant Stop, please provide your business name, description and desired level of participation - showcase artistry and goods, host an activity, host an artist/musician etc. Presented in collaboration with The Port Washington Chamber of Commerce (PWCOC) and Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District (Port BID).
Exotic & Classic Car Show
The 5th Annual Exotic and Antique Car Show will happen alongside the Art Walk at the Port Washington Long Island Railroad Station. The Car Show is organized and presented by the PW Masonic Lodge No, 855 in celebration of the artistry of cars and shared community.
A car registration fee is collected at the Car Show. A discounted fee is collected for pre-registration. All proceeds from the Car Show are donated to Shriners Children's Hospitals.
Student Art Gallery
Visit the Student HEARTS Gallery curated and supported by HEARTS PW through their grant programs. Located at the Mural Garden by Wright Music. Student talent and art coordinated and presented by HEARTS PW.
