The Port Mural Project
A cornerstone of the Art Walk pw is The Port Mural Project - a Residents Forward beautification initiative to transform under-utilized walls and public spaces into public art.
The 5 murals of the Port Mural Project fall within the Art Walk Route.

Artist Trunk Show
The Artist Trunk Show is a fun and unique way to meet and shop local and regional artists who are bringing their art to the lot of the LIRR - some literally out of their trunks!
The Artist Trunk Show is presented by Residents Forward in partnership with The Art Guild and coordinated by Samantha Goldman.
Located at Port Washington Long Island Railroad Station - adjacent to the Car Show.

Live Music Stops 🎶
The streets will be alive with music!
The Art Walk pw ’26 Music Stops will keep the Art Walk moving and grooving with live performances from local talent ranging from jazz and acoustic sets to reggae, rock, student jams and more!
Music Stops are located at: LIRR Station Lot, Mural Garden (by Wright Music), Falconer Florist (S. Maryland) and Bach to Rock (Port Blvd). (schedule subject to change)

Live Music is coordinated and presented by Homebrew Music. Student talent provided by Wright Music & Bach to Rock.

Exotic & Classic Car Show
The 5th Annual Exotic and Antique Car Show happens alongside the Art Walk at the Port Washington Long Island Railroad Station. The Car Show is organized and presented by the PW Masonic Lodge No, 855 in celebration of the artistry of cars and shared community.
A car registration fee is collected at the Car Show. A discounted fee is collected for pre-registration. All proceeds from the Car Show are donated to Shriners Children's Hospitals.
Merchant Stops
Upper Main Street is having a resurgence! There are many new and notable businesses and creative spots alongside Port’s main stays.
The Art Walk pw ‘26 proudly features 20+ local Merchant Stops along the Art Walk route. Each Merchant Stop showcases their own artistry, creativity, products, experiences and Port pride at the Art Walk.
Look for the Art Walk Stops decals to lead you to the Merchant Stops. Go see what the Merchants Stops have in store!
Merchant Stops are presented in collaboration with The Port Washington Chamber of Commerce (PWCOC), Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District (Port BID), Rachel’s Merchant Mondays and the Merchant Stop Committee and Activation Team.
Residents Forward PORTrait Stations
The Art Walk pw ‘26 theme is: Port is the Canvas. You are the Art. Visit the Residents Forward tent and stations throughout the Art Walk to create Residents PORTraits, pick up Port Mural Project Coloring & Activity Sheets. Also ask about RF’s programs, events and initiatives, like the Oyster Garden Program, upcoming Youth Climate Summit ‘27 and Save the Bagel! a student led YCAP,
